Bewilderment - Vanessa Vilar - Photobook

€35.00

Bewilderment is a visual exploration of the architecture of memory, where abandoned places echo with the quiet thunder of unresolved pain.

Each photograph captures not just decay, but a strange comfort found in the stillness of each room. An understanding, a forgiveness, a pull towards emotional mirrors, forever reflecting the void of early departures.

Here, in the sacred geography of inner landscapes, people’s stories imprint themselves into stone, ash, and silence. Loneliness, destruction, and memory become paths leading to clarity.

Guided by the paradox of light discovered through shadow, this decade-long collection invites the viewer to walk not in fear, but with courage.

Within this nightmare-like journey rests a quiet wisdom: that standing among ruins can open the door to healing.

Through acceptance and refusal, shadow or vibrant hues, Bewilderment points toward a middle path, a way to move forward: liberation emerges from the beauty of uncertainty.
