It All Begins Here

…with the end of another year.

On a personal note, this year has been a punchy journey in itself. Independent publishing is never easy, full of highs and lows, moments of triumph and moments of doubt, but through it all, we have learned, adapted, and grown.

Sometimes we did things right, sometimes we faltered, sometimes we thought an investment would be a good idea or relied on guidance that turned out differently than expected, but each experience taught us something valuable. And ultimately, the flames of creation and curiosity must keep burning.

But let’s reframe this blog post to its core.

Bewilderment, got us bewildered!

The first book published, under this Disquiet of a house to close 2025, pressing the grain.

The 78 photographs, mainly analogue, want you to persist in the dark, facing your fears, demons, and pain, long enough for your eyes to adjust, and feel the relief in acceptance of the nature of things.

Shadow and light perform a careful duet, suggesting that healing is less a breakthrough than a negotiated truce.

The nightmare atmosphere, distinctly off the grid, thankfully, comes with exits clearly marked, if you are brave enough to accept the invitation.
