Opening Signal

Expired things are often misunderstood. They are assumed to be finished, obsolete, irrelevant. But in photography, music, publishing, and creative practice, “expired” can mean something entirely different: alive in unexpected ways.

Expired Frequencies begins from that space.

Here, you will find essays, reviews, field notes, and occasional interviews, all aimed at understanding rather than final verdicts. Reviews are reflections: on Photo Books, Zines, Exhibitions, Printing Experiments, and Creativity. The interviews are meaningful exchanges. The goal is not to define artists or creators solely by their output, but to explore how they think, work, and persist.

This publication moves at a slower frequency.

It values curiosity over procedures, depth over immediacy, and care over performance. Signals are subtle, messy, and sometimes fleeting, but they leave traces.

This is the first signal. It’s not a manifesto or a declaration… just a starting point.

If these signals resonate, subscribe and continue listening as we explore the edges of image, sound, and creative misbehavior.
